The MDI Music Boosters provides financial assistance to all AOS #91 music students (grades 5-12) for music camps, instrument supplies/purchases/repairs, and more (more details below). The Music Boosters review all submissions 3 times a year, with scholarship funding decisions made in October (for semester one), February (for semester two), and June (for summer). You will need to fill this form out by the FIRST BOOSTER MEETING of each scholarship period (in Oct, Feb, or June) to be considered for funding.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS – The MDI Music Boosters will award Music scholarships to Music students in the MDI school system between grades 5 and 12 to help cover the cost of music camps. The Music Boosters can pay camps directly or reimburse you, as appropriate. Scholarships may be requested before acceptance or enrollment. However, funds will not be sent until enrollment is confirmed. Be sure to fill out this form before the Booster’s meeting in JUNE to be considered for a Music Camp Scholarship.

GENERAL MUSICAL SUPPLIES or MUSICAL TRIPS – The Music Boosters will consider assisting students and teachers with purchasing much-needed musical supplies. We will also consider partially funding “musical trips”.  

MATCHING FUNDS for INSTRUMENTS – The Music Boosters will provide matching funds for High School student instrument purchases. We require that the students be in high school and that they contribute an equal amount of funds. The Music Boosters will match student contributions up to $1000 per student (over the student’s 4 years of High School, not per purchase).
